Torque Specs
PUMP: 71 inch pounds
Pump stator: 26 foot pounds
Front pump cover: ll foot pounds
Valve body to case: 93 inch pounds
Valve body: 93 inch pounds
Harness to case: 62 inch pounds
Pan to case: 80 inch pounds
A clutch clearance procedure:
-To check the A clutch you need to follow these instructions
Your top plate is selectable on on the A clutch, so when you are trying to determine the clearance it will be WITHOUT the spring plate and the top apply plate.

1. Install OEM thick pressure plate
2. Do your normal stack up leaving out the top apply plate and spring plate
3. Image 1 shows the area to measure and record the data (example-1.236”)
4. Image 2 show the next area to measure from- Piston to bolt flange (example 1.030”)
5. Measure you thickness of apply plate only (example .086)
6. Subtract the 1.236 from the 1.030 as well as the .086 to get you clutch clearance.You can now adjust the air gap by changing to the selective thicknesses available below.
